Are Stala integrated framing assemblies more expensive than other bucking systems?
Yes and no. Stala assemblies, being constructed of fourteen-gage, galvanized steel, will cost more than a wood or vinyl alternative bucking method. But the number of construction tasks required from wood or vinyl mitigates the upfront cost difference, as does the fact that Stala frames coordinate with multiple sub-trades and permit a quicker construction pace. The tighter thermal seal that Stala enables also contributes to higher energy efficiency, as proven in third-party analyses, and thus lower life-cycle costs.
